Image Optimization Matters More Than You Think.

If you’re one of my more independent clients who updates blog posts, events, galleries, or content yourself – first off, I love that for you. But one of the biggest issues I see on websites is massive image uploads. iPhone and camera photos are insanely large nowadays, which is fantastic for print, but not so fantastic for web.

Huge image files take up valuable server space and can seriously slow down your website for visitors, which is a pretty big no-no when it comes to user experience and SEO.

There are plenty of image compressors out there already, but most of them require signups, subscriptions, weird hoops to jump through, or they slap a watermark on your file unless you pay, so…

I built this simple, free tool for you to quickly compress your images while still keeping them looking good before uploading them to your site.

Happy optimizing…May your load times be fast and your storage space plentiful.

PS: most of the websites I build have a 2MB upload limit, so if you’re compressing specifically for your website, keep that in mind when choosing your target size!
